Columbia Aging Center colleague, Masako Osako, PhD, received an award for her distinguished contribution to the the University of Tokyo Taiken Program for immersive experiential learning.  On February 29, 2016, President Makoto Gonokami of the university presented the award to five honorees at a ceremony held on the Hongo Campus, Tokyo. Masako Osako is the Executive Director of the Secretariat of the International Longevity Center Global Alliance and is active in the UTokyo Alumnae Association in the United States.
